About Me
After 5 years of Mechanical Engineering studies and with over 6 years’ experience in different purchasing environments, I think that I have found my way!
Working for demanding industries such as the automotive and chemical industries allows me to use my technical knowledge together with the challenges that purchasing can bring. Those environments are multi-cultural and adaptability, multi-tasking, attention to details are imperative. I like to face continuously new challenges and learn from them.
Working as a Strategic Sourcing Manager for Elemica allows me to work across all sourcing commodities but also broaden my skills: spend analysis, market analysis, eSourcing (Ariba, Frictionless, Zycus…) or project management (creation of a collaborative platform for our customers).
Now working for TNT is a new challenge that helps me to progress and learn everyday.

As a sourcing manager and a consultant, I have the opportunity to work across the complete purchasing process (from the opportunity assessment to the contract implementation) and for different customers from the Tire and Chemical industries (Michelin, Goodyear, Continental, Dow…).
More details about my responsibilities:
- eSourcing Coordinator for Europe:
- Work with Ariba Sourcing 12s1, SAP Frictionless v9 and Zycus
- Designated Support Contact (DSC) for Ariba (interface between Elemica and Ariba)
- Responsible for the deployment of eSourcing for one of Elemica’s customers in Europe: Template management, user training, increase software adoption, communicate best practices, user support, monthly report to the management
- Plan and execute complex single and multi-stage strategic sourcing projects for Elemica’s customers:
- Collaborate with internal customers, buyers and category managers
- Spend analysis, Total Cost of Ownership analysis
- Define project strategy
- Manage market analysis and benchmarks
- Run sourcing project(s) (Request for Information, Request for Proposal / Quotation and Auctions)

At the end of my internship within Volvo Powertrain’s purchasing service, I started working as an Industrial buyer. Among my responsibilities, I can list:
- Proposing new purchasing strategies for parts in my portfolio (European level strategies) and apply global strategies developed by the global category managers.
- Working closely with my different counterparts in North America and Asia.
- Developing a professional network within the Volvo organization in order to create purchasing synergy when possible
